Getting it home if you are unable??

We were 350+ miles from home when I got some strong pain in my abodomen. All I could think of what a mess it will be. to get this all home if I could not. My wife hates driving and never has driving with the 5 th wheel So I took some tums and away we went. She asked me many time if I was ok or pointed to the Hospital exit The pain never changed much thinking it would pass but 7 1/2 Hrs later were are home and still have the pain.Later that night I went to the ER and Monday they took out my gall badder. Is some type of coverage out their for long weekender (Far from fultimers) This not the time for the wife to drive Home (you are looking for a ACCIDENT)

RE: New 08 Dually D/A

You have a boxed frame. You most likely can mount the rails but getting the bolts and nuts on might be a good trick.Look again at that frame looks heavy and very thick

RE: accociation island

We were there 8/14-17 and had site L-30 lakeview the place was clean the camp store had very little the pool was warner than the lake. The beach was very small hardly used. We had fun fishing AT the bridge she out fished me again in numbers but my fish were bigger. They had no activities. The bugs were not bad but yes we had bugs when walking out the back road you got a foul smell but are site was clear. We drove around on Friday checking the towns. Some neat places to see. We plan to go back. Firewood at the camp store is 5.00 + tax you can find wood on the way in at better cost

RE: How do you feel: campgrounds that require a "newer" rig?

When we were younger we had some old camper we fixed and cleaned up the best we could thats what we could afford at that time. We had great times. To bad they feel the rig makes the person. Many great campgrounds in Maine. WE would past on it.

Happy with 08 6.7 mpg

Just did a 550+ mile camping trip(which was great) with my new tow truck just over 2500 miles on it we got 10.1 mpg (by hand) for the trip which makes me happy over my last tow truck rode nice stopped very well engine brake and tow mode worked well together some hard shifting pulling power and start outs were fine backing with a shorter wheel base will take time to ajust too. We did a solo trip before hand about 400 miles and was at 18.2 on over head still the 120.00 + fill ups hurt but going longer in between is better.

I was so happy with my 08 f-350 ps auto 4x4 cc lb with 3.73 that I traded it in with 14,000 miles very poor mpg when not towing and winter was worse

RE: Inspection of 2008 F-350, 6.4L Diesel

The 08 F350 are good if you can keep up with the fuel cost I traded before I went broke. I took a beating on the trade in but will come out better in the long run as diesel $$jump up
